No Sri Lankans in Lebanon or Israel Harmed – Foreign Employment Bureau.

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau has stated that no accidents have occurred to any of the Sri Lankan workers in Lebanon or Israel due to war conflicts. However, they have temporarily stopped the recruitment and registration of employees in those two countries.

Gamini Senarath, Additional General Manager of the Foreign Employment Bureau, has mentioned that 30 Sri Lankans in Lebanon are currently detained in safe places. He further mentioned that if you want to inquire about relatives in that country, you can call the number 1898.
