The Ministry of Defence instructs the police to report any deficiencies in the investigation of the Easter attack.

Police Media Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Nihal Talduwa has stated that they have been instructed to report any deficiencies in the investigations related to the Easter attack. These instructions were given during a discussion at the police headquarters attended by the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security, the Acting Inspector General of Police, and senior officers of the Criminal Investigation Department. It was emphasized during the discussion that further investigations should be conducted if there are any deficiencies in the ongoing investigations. Additionally, the Deputy Inspector General of the Criminal Investigation Department will provide the Acting Inspector General of Police with an investigation report related to the Easter attack.
