Namal Karunaratne, the National Organizer of the All Ceylon Farmers’ Federation, stated that efforts are being made to provide dairy farmers with higher prices in the future.
He mentioned that discussions will be held with the government regarding this matter.
The previous government had reduced the local milk prices.
He further stated that measures are being taken to ensure maximum fairness for dairy farmers.
