Former minister dies in a bathroom.

The Anuradhapura Police have reported that former Minister W. B. Ekanayake has passed away in the bathroom of his home.

He was the United National Party’s Anuradhapura District Organizer and was preparing to contest in the upcoming election.

Hospital sources have indicated that the cause of his death may have been a sudden heart attack.

Police also stated that he was living alone at the time of his death.
