As Rajapaksa has agreed to repatriate their wealth from Uganda, the debt problem will be immediately resolved. It is said to be six times the IMF’s.

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa, a former Member of Parliament, states that he and his generation will give the fullest support to bring back the wealth allegedly stolen and hidden by the Rajapaksas and hidden in the Seychelles Islands.

Addressing a party meeting of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, he said:

“If the money stolen by Rajapaksa is in Uganda, we will give our utmost support to bring that money back. If anyone we know is in Uganda, please help with this work.

If they are brought, paying this debt is not a problem. They say there are 18 billion dollars. Then the IMF is not needed. The World Bank is not needed.

My family and our party are giving maximum support, please bring this money to Sri Lanka as soon as possible.”
