New polling from the New York Times and Siena College shows Vice President Kamala Harris narrowly ahead of former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, while Trump has the upper hand in Arizona. The Pennsylvania survey, co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Inquirer, shows Harris with 49% of likely voters compared to Trump’s 45%, including third-party candidates. Harris’ lead is driven by strong support from women, while Trump leads among men. Another poll averages the race even closer, with Harris at 48% and Trump at 47%.
In Arizona, Trump leads Harris with 50% to her 45%, despite Harris maintaining strong backing from younger and Latino voters. Trump’s edge comes from a wider gap among men compared to Harris’ support among women.
Additionally, Democrats are ahead in Senate races in both states, with Sen. Bob Casey leading in Pennsylvania and Ruben Gallego leading in Arizona.
