Sanath to the position of head coach of Sri Lanka Cricket

Former Sri Lankan cricket captain Sanath Jayasuriya has been appointed as the head coach of the Sri Lankan cricket team.

Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute further stated that he has been appointed for the period from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026.
