The security booths on the road near the Temple Trees are being removed.

With the reopening of the road running from the Kollupitiya Mosque adjacent to Temple Trees to the Rotunda Roundabout for the public, the security booths on either side of the road have been removed by the Colombo Municipal Council today (11th).

The road was closed for 19 years in 2005 due to security reasons.

Following a review of the current security situation, the long-closed road has now been reopened for public use.
